Our products are tested by family and friends, but never on our animal friends. Honey is a non- oily moisturizer due to its hygroscopic properties. This means that honey draws moisture from the air creating a greater moisture content on the surface of the skin. Thus moisturizing is achieved with out the use of oils or fats as is the case with most commercial moisturizing products. Honey hydrates the skin drawing in as much water as the air is humidified.
